Due to water scarcity, measuring the exact amount of water consumption is imperative, considering a large amount of consumed drinking water is being wasted, which is caused by measurement errors and the inaccuracy of water measuring devices. Therefore, by accurately measuring water consumption, it is possible to help prevent water wastage. Thus, Pooyac defined its mission to address this issue by developing and manufacturing smart ultrasonic water meter. The ultrasonic water meter operates by alternately transmitting and receiving a burst of ultrasound between the two transducers by measuring the transit time it takes for sound to travel between them in both directions.
